Insurance Bureau of Canada (IBC) to Engage Risk Manager

Coast to coast, Condo Corporations have been facing steep increases to both premiums and deductibles. The IBC announced on Tuesday that a risk manager was being engaged to work with condominiums to increase awareness on how insurers view risk and evaluate properties. Pink Shirt Day 2020

Pink Shirt Day On this day, we unite with millions of people across the world in taking a stand against bullying. The Pink Shirt Day campaign was started by two Nova Scotian teens, Travis Price and David Sheppard, after witnessing a grade 9 student being bullied for wearing a pink shirt to school on his first day. These two grade 12 students took a stand against homophobic bullying, which garnered media attention across the country. These brave boys saw a problem and hit it head on. They gathered others at their school and wore pink the following day to show.

CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19) ACTION PLAN Prevention Activities Gateway Employees A communication has been sent to all employees with information on the coronavirus obtained from reliable sources. All have received Health Canada’s guidelines to prevent the spread of infections. We are currently stocking our offices with additional hand sanitizer, facial tissues, paper towels and disinfectant wipes, supplies permitting. Pink Shirt Day 2021

Pink Shirt day began in Nova Scotia in 2007 when a student was bullied for wearing a pink shirt to class. Two older students wore pink shirts and distributed pink shirts to other boys in the school to take a stand against the bullies and support their schoolmate.
