Why we trust in professional property management
As one of Canada’s largest privately owned property management companies, thousands of people across Canada are working and living in our properties every day. With a longstanding history in the industry, it has given the Gateway team an invaluable tool: experience. We sat down with CEO, Scott Ullrich to get his take on trusting in his team.

Happy Home – Kamloops
This picture was featured recently on Global BC television and we are proud to say that it was submitted by one of our Kamloops team members. Lana gave us the inside scoop below: “I took the picture on South Shuswap Lake near Blind Bay looking out at Copper Island. Two minutes after I took this photo we were running for the car because the sky opened up and soaked us. South Shuswap Lake has a beach that my family and I love – not a lot of people frequent it because it is all shale and not.

Happy Home – Calgary Stampede
July 18, 2016 Sunday marked the final day of the 104th Calgary Stampede. Like the rest of last week, Sunday was chilly and full of rain. The 10 day Calgary Stampede kicks off each year with a massive parade. Last year I had family visiting from out East so parade attendance was almost mandatory. I had booked reserved seats on the route through a local charity. In prior years, we’d gone downtown at 5:00 AM to save seats for the 9:00 AM start. This year, there were folks who camped the night before on the route just to get their.

#BellLetsTalk
Today is Bell Let’s Talk Day and Gateway Property Management is joining the conversation around mental health. Today on Bell Let’s Talk Day, Bell will contribute 5 cents to mental health related initiatives for every text message sent, and mobile and long distance call made by Bell and Bell Aliant customers, every tweet and Instagram post using #BellLetsTalk, view of the official Bell Let’s Talk Facebook video and use of the Bell Let’s Talk geofilter on Snapchat. Earth Day 2017
Earth Day has been celebrated on the 22nd of April since 1970. To participate, we asked our employees to try out some small changes today that can make a big difference: -Attempt to go paperless for the day. As per Stats Canada, the average Canadian consumed 20,000 pages in 2003. Enough to cover an area of almost 1,200 square metres! -Use only reusable coffee mugs, water bottles and lunch containers/brown bags for the day. If you use a reusable mug for at least one cup of coffee or tea every day, you’ll end up avoiding about 23 lbs of waste .

Preparing Your Home for Your Vacation
The season for vacations has arrived! Whether your vacation takes you to a nearby campground or halfway around the world, you should make sure your home is as ready for your vacation as you are! Consider the following tips: Clean out your fridge: No one wants to come home and have to deal with expired food. Give away anything that may go bad while you are away. For a longer vacation, you may want to consider emptying out the fridge and unplugging it. Make sure the door is propped open to avoid any mildew smell. Adjust your thermostat: No sense.

Canada 150 – What Canada Means to Gateway
July 1st, 2017 will mark the sesquicentennial anniversary of the Confederation of Canada. On July 1st, 1867 Canada was recognized as an independent nation. Gateway is a proud Canadian company with employees and clients from East Coast to West Coast. As part of our Canada Day 150 celebration, we asked our team members what Canada or being Canadian meant to them. Here are some of the stories they shared: “I received my Canadian Citizenship on July 1st, 1992! They had a special ceremony at Canada Place, the Prime Minister at that time was Brian Mulroney, who attended the ceremony, shook.
